Savannah Grace!

I dont know where to even start with this post. I just wanted to share with everyone how big Savannah is and how quickly she seems to be growing.

Its been an amazing journey to watch her learn and grow about her world around her. However when I see pictures like these and hear the things that come from her mouth I long for her newborn days. The days when I felt like I could cuddle her and hold her all day. Even though all of us who know Savannah are aware she was NOT much of a cuddly baby! She is slowly getting better. She is just very choosy about who receives her affection. Luckily she loves her mommy and I get lots of it! She loves me to the moon and back, or so I have heard!

ok. So this is a VERY boring and mushy post but I just want to be able to look back at these pictures and remember what I was thinking.

Our little girl is growing fast, both of them are. She is more beautiful to us each day! We could not be any more proud! Love you Sweets! To the moon and back!

Where do the days go??

Okay so I kept telling all of you that I was going to stay on top of my posting and then alot went on in our little world and I kept telling myself I was going to stay on top of blogging........and as many of you are able to read.....I havent!

So here I go playing catch up yet again and thinking I can stay on top of it. I guess we will see this time! So here are some pictures of Easter Weekend of all the babies together & Sa-Nana too! I will actually post about that later but thought I would leave you with a couple pics. The girls are all so cute when they play together. Its so crazy to see 3 babies that close in age on the floor playing together. We still feel like Savannah should be a baby and she is this big girl growing up so fast and fantastic!

Anyway here are the pics already. Also I dare you to match the baby to her daddy! We think they all look like their dads, just in female form! Its been so fun to watch them grow. And I know you will all guess who Ella belongs to because of my LOVELY, PASTY, WHITE SKIN! POOR, poor, POOR GIRL!

Lucky Me.

So I have alot more posting to catch up on. (savannah's birthday, Easter, etc.) However I felt that I had a couple moments to spare and to share this.

Everyone should be so careful when they are cleaning up the kitchen! Anyone who knows me is aware of what a clutz I am and that there is always something I do that is a little bit off the wall.

Saturday everyone is here from Salt Lake, babies and all and Im cleaning up the kitchen. I decide to move Jolenes cast iron pot we got her for Christmas, back to the stove. On the way there something went terribly wrong and I dropped the pot.

As the heavier than ever pot is falling, I cant decide whether its going to break, should I save it?? Or whether my foot is going to break in the process, duh- MOVE IT!

Apparently I am thinking slowly and cant decide about either choice. I let the pot fall still but dont move my foot all the way out of the way.

So after this long story I will tell you I caught a cast iron pot to the foot and ankle. It was so strong it knocked me to the ground right away. I cried like a baby of course and now my foot/ankle/bottom of my leg are killing me. So I may have to visit the doctor??

Also I have an actual dent in my ankle which is amusing to look at. I never knew you could dent your own skin, bones, etc.

Lesson Learned: Be ALOT more careful when cleaning up and stop trying to do 50 things at once. It just causes accident and injury.

ha ha ha ha!

Afternoon Snack (after naptimes)

So every afternoon after naptime my girls love to have their snacks! Ella LOVES Multi-Grain Cheerios so generally thats how she starts her afternoon. Savannah has decided she loves them again too. So Savannah now joins Ella at her highchair. She makes a little cubby for her snacks out of the cupholder and they eat together.

I love how no matter what day I take these pictures I can always get shots of them just looking at one another. They really have some fun with this.

We love watching them spend quality fun time together as sisters! Its so important! Please excuse Savannah's mouth. Its dirty from snacking! I think this is one of my favorite times of day. I love how they wake up and look forward to being so close again. Reminds me again of why I wanted to be a mother so badly and why I LOVE being home with them!

Sista Races, this occurs often at our house!

So now that Ella is crawling, she is EVERYWHERE! And she is FAST too. I am amazed at how much speed she has, Savannah was fast but Im not sure she was this fast! Also she went from crawling one day to pulling up literally a couple days later, then straight to cruising the furniture and now going from piece to piece and maintaining the standing position! I cant believe all that she does. I am predicting that she will be walking in about 1 month and I am dreading it too!

Also the most hilarious part about it is her size, SHE IS ITTY BITTY. So to see her doing all these things is almost comedic. She just looks too small to be on the ground crawling. Grandma Jolene had a good point the other night, crawling is old news to her now because she is on her way around the room. Anyway its been fun trying to keep her in one room and just to see her growing. She is a VERY active and fun child to have in our lives.

So back to the main point of this posting. Savannah and Ella spend all day together and seem to love every minute of it too! Savannah loves to get down and crawl and play with Ella often. So they often race through the kitchen and its too funny! So I have gotten some pics for everyone to see. Also I will have to post pics of Ella playing in Savannah's kitchen with her. Because she barely looks over the top and loves to just play with her sister or sometimes without even. She just wants to be a big girl! Gotta love her. We are so VERY Blessed!

Warmer weather is finally coming to Utah!

I dont know about anyone else but I can not wait to see some sunny, warm weather. I LOVE the FALL, its my favorite season and winter is right behind it but with all the snow we had this year I am ready to see it go. I know the girls are VERY ready for it to be gone. Savannah always plays hard and loves to be outside.

Darlene....I cant tell you how much she misses going out and chalking with the neighborhood kids. That was something special, thats for sure! We need to come and have an outdoor visit so that the kids can chalk, Savannah can see Elsie and we can all visit! We miss you!

So here are a couple pics of Gavin, Aubs, Cody, Floyde, Savannah, and Brit all having some fun outside. I was there too but as the photographer. I love being outside from time to time but on this evening I was just content taking pictures.

It has been my goal to leave my camera out and take pictures almost everyday. Its been a fun challenge and I have really done well with it. Now for the next step to that goal......keep up on my blog with those pictures. What good are those pictures if not being posted for all to see right?? Again, someone start reminding me okay??

And you dont have to be nice about it either. Sara. ha ha ha! Sara is excellent about reminding me she would like to see pictures and I LOVE IT! Thanks for keeping me on top of things girl. MISSSSSSSSSSSS YOU LIKE CRAZZZZZYYYYY!!!! You are and always have been my one and only Sara.

Also Uncle Danny if you are reading my blog (like you have been known to do and admitted to doing) I hope you are enjoying it. Yes the stories can be kind of boring but I know you LOVE IT! Next time we should be taking pictures of you and Cody out on the Golf Course, Beer and all, having some fun!

Juice Box Sistas FOREVER!

So Savannah Banana and her daddy LOVE Hi-C juice boxes. I dont love her having a bunch of junk all day so she is only allowed one cup of juice or juicebox per day. She really chooses carefully when she chooses to have that treat. However out of all juice boxes I love Hi-C too because they are all CLEAR and would NEVER stain. EVERY mothers dream! YAY!

So Ella had found Daddy's empty. (that sounds bad in other ways) and decided that she would try to be like her big sista Vana Bananers......I got the cutest pics. Maybe this is boring to most but it was so cute to see and Ella is always trying to be with Vana all day, she LOVES, Lova, LoVeS her big sister!

We could not be happier about that either!

Cooking with our Kidlets.

So we all LOVE to cook as a family. In fact I believe its maybe our #1 past time together and if not #2 for sure! So I had to show these cute pics of Savannah licking the bowl after making brownies. We had just watched Ultimate Recipe Showdown and all of us wanted Chocolate of some kind. We were hoping for cake but then decided brownies. YUM!!!

Also we made fried mushrooms one day. Because I constantly crave them! They are the BEST! I cant believe I never gave them a chance before. I was really missing out! So we got Brit to try them and she HATES mushrooms. I had agreed to keep the pics off of here but couldnt resist pointing out that she tried something we made. Next up on the list for her to try: BEANS! She HATES beans and its just too wierd to me. I LOVE BEANS! I will get you to do it Brit Brit. Even if its in your sleep and they end up going up your nose. ha ha ha!

Sleepy kids...

So I have to share with everyone a couple cute pics of our sleepy kids. Savannah fell asleep one day watching Strawberry Shortcake downstairs and decided that her Spongebob table would make an excellent bed! ha ha ha!

Then Ella loves, LOVES, LoVeS to fall asleep in her jumperoo! She will be happily napping and then out of nowhere wake up and start bouncing again. It is HILARIOUS to watch. I hate moving her too because she is mobile now so bedtime isnt as easy to manuever. Darn it!

Also I have a little pic here of Ella who fell asleep on Grandma's lap. She was SO tired, there was NOTHING that was going to wake her up. It was so cute I had to get a pic. Well at the same time her Auntie Britni is over on the couch like a snoozing beauty. And of course I took a picture and threatened to show it publically. Which I am now doing. Brit Brit. We love you very much!

Playing catch up....this is worse than homework in high school!

Hey there everyone! So its been forever since I have posted! Someone needs to make it their personal goal to remind me because I really do think about it but then get busy etc. So between tonight and tomorrow that is my goal to update our blog.
