Ella Glenda...

Last July we welcomed little Ella Glenda into our world and we were so proud to say there were then 4 of us crazy Greenwoods in our little family!

Well its UNBELIEVEABLE how much has changed since last year and that in just 3 months or so we are expecting BABY #3!!!! We sometimes still cant believe it. It just happened so fast, however it is such a blessing to have such a beautiful family and to be so young to enjoy it! I know that sounds crazy but I couldnt imagine doing what I do everyday, oh say, 5 years from now......YEAH RIGHT!! I mean I know I will still be a parent, etc. But I wont be chasing little feet around all day and teaching them that NO stairs are NOT at all a FUN place to play.

I say this because we combat Ella on this EVERYDAY many times a day! Oh we are so excited the new place we move to at the end of this month has NO stairs! YEAH!!! We have baby gates to block her off and that will be MARVELOUS!

Anyway Ella is just a doll to watch grow! She is this teeny, tiny little ball of energy. I really do mean energy too! She has endless amounts of it! Its almost insane. I get exhausted chasing her and Savannah all day but I love watching them as sisters playing and loving one another! I cant believe we are adding another girl to this mix in Dec!

So here is to Ella! Its been an amazing year of watching you grow. And the best part about it is that she and Savannah are so different in so many ways and its a beautiful thing to appreciate them each for who they are! She is my little
Ella-phant!

Thanks so much to both our little girls for making our lives so special and full of love and laughter! There are so many happy memories in our past and so many happy years full of memories to come!

XOXOXO

flashback to March 27, 2005

So I was in the process of retrieving photos from people I know today because Kodak removed them from my gallery without telling me first. In the process of doing this I got to look back at some awesome photos.....

I came across the photos of the day Savannah was born and had to share them again. I cant believe how much time has passed. Its amazing to think about. Savannah will be 4 in March this year!

I love seeing the photos of her and Cody together for the first time. There is nothing like the love a daddy has for his daughter the first time their eyes meet! It is truly a blessing!

Everyone enjoy and I will post Ellas pics as well in just a bit! Sorry for the sappy stuff!

Thanks Grampy.....

So every year for all our birthdays my wonderful Grandpa Reinholz always sends money to us. I tell him constantly stop sending anything. Because honestly I would rather he had the money. However we always let the kids pick something. Of course we pick for Ella but Savannah always has fun picking her gift out! This year she decided that she wanted a sand and water table. So we set out looking online, in magazines, etc for the perfect one!

Finally it was to be found at Target! And Daddy knew exactly the kind of cool colored sand to get. I didnt even know colored sand existed except for sand art type of stuff. Turns out Cody led me to Wal-Mart and there it is.....about $8 a bag! So we loaded up on lots of colors and are now wishing we had bought more!

You will never guess what color she used first and its her absolute FAVORITE!

PINK!!! She loves pink.

onto another story while in the car one day she is asking everyone their favorite color. Questions are a thing of beauty to a 3 year old. Its like the only kind of conversation we seem to have these days....We love the questions, however the supermarket checkers......NOT AT ALL! Its sad to see a grown adult snub a 3 YEAR OLD! Rediculous really!

Anyway back to the actual story. I answer her that my favorite color is green....she gets this sad, sad look on her face and says........."You dont like Pink at all anymore?? Why???" and is devastated because we dont all LOVE the color pink like she does.

Ah the things that traumatize the world of a 3 year old. If only adult problems could be so simple.

keep in mind in most of the photos she is recently up from a nap, so the hair is a bit crazy! Also I am posting a couple pics of her having fun with daddy!

All these babies..

Since our last posting we have taken many trips to SLC to see family, have some fun, etc. So throughout all this posting I will include pictures of the babies who are all MUCH bigger now and have really developed into these cute little people. The 3 girls are all 1 now (we had birthdays over the summer) and it really is such a fun age to watch...however it can be so trying as well. Little people learning how to control and navigate their world can really be a handful at times! But it only comes for a short while and Savannah seemed like she was just there and already she is going to be 4 in March! I hate it sometimes! Time flies when you are having fun!

again with the photos.....

more photos.....told you there would be many!

Where to start..???

So I believe I last left everyone with the post of us expecting another child. So sometime in April also we took Savannah to the Dinosaur Museum up at Thanksgiving Point. For those of you unaware, Savannah is obsessed with dinosaurs. She really thinks they are neat and for quite a LONG while was convinced she could have one, (just a tiny one) as a pet. She was so sure Daddy and Mommy could just get her a tiny dinosaur......so we bought a little stuffed one for her. She named it Sanana-saurus but still wanted the real deal...

Option #2....we bought a book titled something like "Do Dinosaurs eat pizza?" and it kinda goes through how they are extinct now, blah, blah, blah.......This still doesnt work and she is now getting fed up with these attempts....

Option #3....try talking to her and really explain the whole dinosaurs are "extinct" thing......this didnt work too well either.

LAST RESORT!!! We take her to the museum. She sees all the bones, exhibits, etc.

Finally she gets it. We even took in an IMAX movie after our tour of the museum to really give her the idea. Too bad it was in 3-D, it honestly scared her a bit when the other dinosaurs would eat one another......either way she finally understood and was cool with it all. She now tells everyone about the dinosaurs being in the ground, people digging up the bones, etc. Its really funny to hear! SO I will post some pics of our visit there. Also to come later we recently took a trip to Build a Bear.....and yes it involves a dinosaur and a great friend of ours!

We're back....and it has been a while!

So......I dont know what is wrong with me but all summer I just had NO urge to update our blog. I know we were VERY busy and I am sure that had a lot to do with it, but it seems I had to spend my free time in other ways.

So now we're back and better than ever! just kidding. However I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't go longer than a month without adding something to our blog.

Now, I'm not promising that our family is really all that interesting or that the reads will be good....because that's just how life is everyday I guess. But I am promising to keep it better updated so that those dear to our hearts who can't see us everyday or even often for that matter can stay updated on our family and what we are up to these days!

Anywho you guys are going to see alot of pictures and posts of our summer. I hate to overload everyone that way but we did some really fun things and would love to share with everyone! Summer was busy for us! However we are SO glad its coming to an end and that FALL (my FAV season) is well on its way! I love, love, love sweater weather and just breathing in the cool, crisp fall air. Thats something you don't get in many places besides Utah and seriously you miss it tremendously when you leave!

Well thats all for now folks. Time to upload some photos, etc. Hope everyone is well and that you don't fall asleep reading all the upcoming posts!
ha ha ha!

XOXOXOXO
