So today I stumbled on a fabulous blog. Its called A Wedding Story and the fabulous Mrs. Lassiter wants to motivate others to lose weight, keep it off, etc....so she is giving away a subscription to fitness magazine and I REALLY, rEaLlY, really want to win. Did I mention I really want to win? I am one who never tends to win anything and this would be awesome. What a way to help me reach my goal....I have subscribed to Weight Watchers, etc and not ever been super motivated but this looks like a very well rounded magazine. In fact if I win I myself will also give away a subscription of this magazine. I like to pay it forward...its fun and the right thing to do. So I REALLY hope I win.....I will keep you posted.

breathe deep and grab a snack. you're gonna need it.
So I suppose it is true that another new year is upon us already. My how the time just seems to keep speeding up and flying by. It seems the older I get the faster time passes, the more amazing my life gets, the faster my children change......you get the point.
So here is to 2010. Its a new decade. For me, this is a decade of renewal. Getting back to who I am, simplifying, enjoying the simple and GOOD things in life. That is what means the most to me. I figure there is absolutely NO point in saying I will lose some absurd amount of weight, make a ton of money, whatever. I mean really. Lets keep it real. I can only make those things happen if I work hard and dont stress over them. Life will play out and I will be its puppet, to a point.
So while to many this may seem quite pessimistic I just figure that by setting my sights low it can only go UP from here. And UP it will go because I am that kind of person. I want to see good things in life. I just dont want to stress over unnecessary things anymore. Sure I want to lose weight and look good again, but more importantly I just want to be in better shape, be healthier, etc. Im working out and eating better and it can only get better with time. So there is one goal on my list..HA!
Sorry this is a bit sappy. I just want to wish everyone a VERY HAPPY 2010! I hope for many of you that it is filled primarily with love, luck and laughter. I am sure you will have some bad days but overall, I hope its a great year. I dont know why but I have this unexplainable feeling that this year will be great. So here is a little quiz someone shared with me via email......enjoy and I tag anyone to do it thats feeling motivated today......or even slightly bored. :)
What was the best part of last year? I dont think one part of the year just screamed out fabulous to me more than others. All in all it was just a pretty great year.
What was the worst part of last year? Living in a house that had a ton of problems and a landlord that was NOT wanting to take responsibility to fix them and many of them were MAJOR and knowing that whoever is living there now is living with those same problems. I feel badly for them.
What was the biggest surprise of last year? No surprises really. 2009 was a relatively quiet year as far as large events go.
What are you most looking forward to next year? managing our money wisely, Savannah starting kindergarten, setting and accomplishing goals for my small business, just enjoying life more and more in its everyday beauty.
Is there anything you are not looking forward to next year? Not really. Maybe the part about Savannah going to school. She is SO excited and I am too but in a way I wish my little girl were still a little girl enjoying everyday at home with mommy. She certainly makes my days interesting.
Which new years resolutions did you keep last year? I dont think I made one last year. I honestly cant remember. Which goes back to my thoughts this year. Why make a resolution you have no intention/motivation of keeping?
Which new years resolutions did you break last year? Again, NO clue. Sad.
What will be your new years resolutions next year? No resolutions. Goals and ideas, yes. Resolutions equals bad idea and a big heap of stinking failure. :)
Which resolution are you most likely to break? Goal to break, hopefully none. Maybe just modify. we will play it by ear :)
Which resolution are you most likely to keep? I hope my goal of reading one book a month will stick. Maybe I will even read two! Here's to hoping!
What will you be doing on new years eve? Spent it with family as always, it was fabulous, fun and full of laughter. We have an incredible family. So much fun.
Who do you want to kiss to see the new year in? My honey pie. Sweet Cheeks. Cody for those of you who dont know those are his nicknames. there are others some not appropriate for your reading pleasure. :)
What was the best song of last year? NO clue! I know if you ask my kids the best song ever is BOOM BOOM POW by Black Eye Peas. We have listened to it too many times to count over the last year.
What was the best TV show of last year? A favorite for us around here is Big Love, Lots of Food Network, Good Things Utah, cant really think of what else. Oh and my trash TV is any of The Real Housewives Series.....SO TRASHY!
What was the best book you read last year? Jenny McCarthy's "Louder than words" It had an amazing impact on me, so much that I read it in one night.
What was the best film of last year? Not sure there either. An all time favorite though, "dumb & dumber" "Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion" "Baby Mama" the list goes on.
What change would you like to make to your life next year? already working on it. I am no longer giving my time, heart, love, friendship to those that do NOT return it to me wholeheartedly. I have just had enough with some people who think the world revolves around them. Sooner or later I hope they realize the world is bigger than yourself and you have to care for others and give back. Im just not born to be a butt kisser.
What change would you like to see in the world next year? Again with the self absorbed people thing. I would like to see more people getting involved with things that need help, make a change, put some effort into it dont just write a check, I myself have a goal in 5 years to start a non-profit of my own. Its a lofty goal but I am confident it can be done.
So let me just say sorry in advance for this HUGE post. ha ha ha. Its not been too entertaining either. So to cap this off I feel the need to share a few of my goals for this year. Nothing too serious of course but it feels good to have a goal in mind.
1. read at least one book a month. Hopefully more. But I love to read and have instilled that love in my children. However it seems I only read children's books anymore. Its time to read something more profound. I am so excited! I am also hoping to purchase a kindle sometime in this year too.
2. keep up with my exercise routine. I have been working out and I hope to keep it up. I have a lot of weight to lose and someday I will meet my goal. Baby steps, people. Baby steps.
3. I have many goals for my business. I have had a lot of things happen this year with it and that's been fun & exciting. But this year I want more for it. I want more for it. I want to put more of myself towards it as well. My dog treats are going to be sold at R & A Market in Helper so there is a start...Again a lofty goal with all this, but I am sure something will come of it.
4. We are devoted as a family to creating more family time. We have sat down and created a fun schedule. Schedules seem a little boring and planned I know but with 3 girls under age 5, a husband working 12 hour days, volunteering and everything else sometimes it just has to be that way. Plus is gives us all something to work toward and look forward to. So we have worked in movie nights, kids cook nights, etc. We are all REALLY excited for this one.
5. Make it to NM in the spring. We have been dying to go back and visit and I will not lie when I say winning the HGTV Dream Home in NM would be a DREAM COME TRUE too...I absolutely LOVE the land of enchantment. Its my home. Anyway Donald Family we will be coming to visit you. We love you guys!
6. I am so excited that our finances have taken a turn for the better and that we have a lot to look forward to. I am a budgeting fool and can plan a menu like no one's business. So I hope we can keep that up as well. Take out is beyond overrated especially where we live!
7. Date nights are a must on our calendar again! Even if its something small. Its SO important. I think that as parents you just get so busy with life. So we have both committed to making more time for just one another. Happy husband and wife equals Happy Parents.
8. Eat Healthier. We already try quite hard at this but we really want to step it up some more. We already teach our kids with each meal how important things are to our bodies, etc. So we want to keep it up. Eating healthy and having healthy habits are very important for ALL of us.
9. BEING more patient. All around. With my family. My kids, friends, goals, etc. I lack patience and I know this but in time I am greatly improving.
10. enjoy life, simplify life to enjoy it, live life fully, did I mention enjoy life. The small things mean the most...the drives as a family, the dinners, the movies, all of it. I just love life so much. My kids are growing far too fast, life is just passing us by and I NEVER want to feel like I should have tried harder, breathed more of it in, etc. I just want to enjoy it all. Every last drop....
So Happy New Year Everyone! May the new decade be kind to you. As long as you try to find kindness in it. Much Love to All!

Snowy Sundays....

I wish every Sunday could be like this. Waking up to a beautiful winter wonderland is an incredibly serene and peaceful feeling. One that I would have missed deeply with every part of my soul had we stayed in Texas. Although I dont love the cold and the aches and pains that come with it, I truly enjoy and bask in the fact that Utah has all 4 seasons. And beautiful seasons they are too. I dont think many realize that Utah is not just about people being LDS. I mean come on people get over that part already. Stop being ignorant.
So back to Utah. {also known as yew-tah} ha ha ha.
Its beautiful here. We have 4 very clear differences in seasons and some of the most beautiful, captivating scenery and outdoor attractions people have ever seen. Amazing. You can camp in the mountains, the desert, etc. You can ski, water ski, boat, hike, the list is just NEVER ending. One thing I loved in Texas was all the "yew-tah" tourism commercials.
So I am just going to spend the day cleaning some more, organizing and saying thanks for the wonderful things my life has brought to me. I will leave you with a few photos of our gingerbread pancake breakfast yesterday. It surely was yummy and fun! Later maybe I will post some photos of the girls in the snow this morning. It was so fun to watch them, but when they came in they were freezing cold! The joys of being a child again...

Its high time for a new post!

So I think its maybe been a lifetime since I have posted anything. Yep, I believe it has. What a shame! I decided that I am going to take this Thanksgiving Break to update our blog. We were headed to Wyoming and now plans have changed.....and our blog is HATING life and wishing for an update :)
So you may be wondering what is new with us?? Well for starters we moved to Helper about a month ago. We LOVE, l-o-v-e, LoVe, it here! The views are beautiful from our kitchen and living room and its SO much nicer than Smellington {Wellington} Savannah is now obsessed with us living by Balance Rock as well. Its quite funny.
Olivia will be 1 on Dec 3rd and I am quite amazed by where the time went in that year?! I mean, really, where does time go? While I thought I would be so sad about losing my baby girl, she is turning into such an amazing little girl already. She loves, loves, loves her mama too so maybe that is helping to aid in the transition! We are done having babies so that is where the worry came in! She has vampire teeth {eat your heart out Twilight fans...} gives five, claps and says mama, dada, nana and HI! Its SO dang cute! So to celebrate her big day we are having a Cookies & Milk Bash for her! I am stoked! We may have to throw some popsicles into her celebration, they have quickly become her new favorite and its so fun to watch her pant when she gets excited over seeing the box.....or even seeing the freezer door opening. Funny girl!
Ella is 2 and has an attitude at times. Most of the time she is sweet, very helpful and compliant. Then there are the days where she woke up on the WRONG side of the bed and well any of you with kids know how the rest of the story goes....other than that thought. She is amazingly smart as well. Quiet about it too. She can count to ten already and says some incredible sentences, etc. She is also very gifted physically.
Savannah is 4 and starts Kindergarten next fall. This will be a hard but great day in our house. I am sad to see her walk down that road already but so HAPPY for her to make friends. She is incredibly social and craves it. She is most definitely my child! I love to socialize and chat, as we all know. ha ha. She says the craziest things and grasps things that sometimes I just dont think a child of her age should. But she is just so mature!
Anyway I guess I dont have much else exciting to write about at 1 am. Tomorrow, during normal waking hours I may find this more amusing and be able to think of the things we have been up to around here besides the obvious {our kids} ha ha.
For those of you leaving town tomorrow, Happy Thanksgiving. May you take a deep breath and reflect upon all the beautiful blessings in your life. Making sure to take the time to say thank you and "I love you" to those that need to hear it most. I am surely blessed in this life of mine and cant help but feel so grateful everyday for the gifts God has placed before me. My life can puzzle me at times and leave me feeling nervous and unsure of my future, however as long as I am able to have faith and love my family and myself and those around me, even those in need that I do not know, I shall be okay. Its one of yet another blessing placed in my life. :)
Happy Thanksgiving! Much Love!

10 things.
So my friend Amy tagged me to do this and here I am. I think its so interesting to get to know people through things like this!
So the rules. Name 10 things that bug you and then tag 10 people.
1. Since I live in Wellington I really avoid just running into town because I dont want to go back and forth a million times and I almost always plan this trip around the kids naptime, etc. So I make a list and try to remember it which almost never happens but I hate getting to walmart and finding that they only have about 1/2 of what I need. I mean it's Wal-Mart aren't they supposed to have EVERYTHING?? Well ours hardly ever does. It seems every time I go I leave without at least 1 item on my list. Leaving me to go back and spend more money and fill my pantry with more things we dont need! On that note I need to regain my self control apparently.....
2. my 19 month old has the need lately to look around the room at all my hard work and cleanliness and go around tearing all sorts of things out. DRIVES me NUTS lately even though I know she is just exploring her world around her!
3. Rude and Egotistical people. I mean honestly I am almost always miffed about this one. I just wish people would look past the stupid stuff and really get to know a person. This is not just something thats happened to me I watch it happen constantly and it bugs me. Oh and people's manners in public these days really amazes me. Grr!
4. When people do not take care of their children and pets. Honestly why did you have them if you were going to just pawn them off on others and never bathe them??
5. That the time between when my kiddos go to bed and I do is way too short a window to unwind.
6. That I worry about so many people and just can't seem to do enough to help them all besides pray for them.
7. When people are just smoking in the car next to me or by a doorway I need to walk through. Like we all need to breathe in your cigarette smoke? Especially my children. Can't you find a more private place to kill your lungs alone and not EVERYONE elses. I am convinced I will be the person who never picks up a cigarette and then gets cancer from secondhand smoke. Oh and moms and dads who have babies and kids and then just sit by them all nonchalantly smoking like its no big deal you are poisoning them. Your fingers should be cut off!
8. Lately our economy bugs me. I know it seems so common to worry about it but truly I am worried for many people in my life and even those I dont know. I am so aggravated it had to come to this in our country!
9. People not believing in any one's dreams be they mine or someone elses. We should all feel so lucky to have goals and dreams to strive for. They may seems stupid or impractical to others but to the person they belong to its what may just be getting them through the day. Give them a smile and pretend you care even if you could care less. Everyone aspires for something.
10. That since we live in Price there is really nothing to get out and "do!" I wish we had a formal date night more but what would we even do?? So we are working on hanging out with more couples and making our own fun!!! Let us know if you want to join in on the fun!
So I tag anyone who wants to do this. I honestly had to think about this because there is NOT a whole lot that bugs me anymore. I am pretty laid back these days.

A little mind numbing fun.
Well I havent updated the blog in a while so I thought this would be a good way to break the ice. Promise I will get better at updating on the kiddos especially. My camera is on the fritz and I havent decided what to replace it with yet. So when that day comes you will see photos often. Its a personal resolution of mine.
1. Name one thing you like and one thing you dislike about your name.
Hands down......that it is spelled like a boy. I used to love how unique it is. However as an adult its just a pain. Everytime I call the bank, power company, etc. they think I am not me. Then they find it fun to make me answer every security question possible all the while acting skeptical. Yes I am sure someone wants to impersonate me and call in to pay my cell phone bill, etc. Please someone out there get on that.
2. How do you beat the summer heat?
I dont. I am a loser and hibernate inside in the luxury of cool air. I wish I could say I am one of those overly ambitious people who hangs out in the outdoors in the summer heat but I dont. Im no fool. Plus sweating bugs me and makes me feel dirty and I work hard to fit in my one shower a day with 3 kids. Cant afford to jeopardize that.
3. What are your favorite five items in your wardrobe?
I love comfy clothes. When I am at home you will rarely see me waltzing around in jeans. I just dont do it. Plus I am with the kiddos all day. Meaning my clothes get stained easily so I wear things that I am not attached to really.
1. My velour and fleece lounge pants. They are soft and warm and make me feel all warm and fuzzy when I wear them. YAY!
2. My Pink and White striped tshirt by sarah jessica parker. Its comfy and a little bit stylish.
3. my new winter boots. Love that they are lined with sherpa and SO warm.
4. my Mrs. Rogers sweater. So I look like a bum when I wear it. Its warm and kinda stylish. I like it.
5. SOCKS! I wear socks every single day. I have to have them on.
4. What are you most proud of?
many, many things. Probably my family. We have 3 kids and we work so hard to provide a nice life for them. I feel happy that we have succeeded in doing so. Our home is very full of love, laughter and of course chaos. I have 2 very active girls that love to be crazy around one another. Lets hope Olivia decides all that craziness is for the birds and decides to be quiet and calm. That would be a nice change of pace. Kidding. I love my girls for who they are but yes I need a break now and then.
5. Name one subject on which you could talk for hours.
parenting. I feel Cody and I are fun and great parents. We have experienced alot but love to learn from others as well. So this would be a great conversation piece for hours without a doubt.
6. In one word, describe your first kiss.
lame. It was gross and just not right. Im sure every first kiss is that way.
7. Finish the following sentence: "I can always find an excuse to _________".
get online. Oh its so crazy and sad I know. I am sorta addicted to checking my email and scouring for things online. Its a sickness.
8. The big decision I'm currently wrestling with is . . .
Actually not a lot. I decided to go forward with my baking stuff. I am not sure what extent I will go to with it but I have decided now is the time.
So now anyone who reads this and feels bored like I was today fill this baby out. I cant wait to read your answers.
Now its time to really get something done and go make those kidlets some lunch.

Olivia Colleen Greenwood
Hi there everyone! We just wanted everyone to know that Baby Olivia finally made her appearance into this world and we couldn't be happier!
Weds AM {12.03.08} we went into Dr. Gagon's office. He checked me and then sent me over to the hospital to be induced. Honestly for anyone who knows about me and labor it always seems to be a lengthy process so I was pretty nervous about how long this would take, etc. Cody had a feeling it would go fast though.
We got the show on the road but nothing really started to happen til he broke my water. He came over on his lunch to do it and after that it all started to progress. By the late afternoon I was quite uncomfortable and asking for medicine. Misty was incredible with the girls and brought them out to the hospital so I could get my fix. It was hard to be away from them. Jolene was incredible and sat the afternoon out with us while I chatted her head off about wierd stuff I am sure being on pain meds and screamed in pain. She got to stay in the delivery room as Olivia came into this world. It was amazing and I only hope she isnt scarred for life.
I have to apologize to those who came to see me after I got the epidural. I seriously remember looking around seeing people but like no words would come out of my mouth. I was so delirious. I cant say it was enjoyable like you would think. But I needed it I guess because about 2 hours after that epidural I was ready to push and Olivia came in only 1 1/2 pushes. It was such a breezy delivery. Also the epidural didnt take right on my left side so I really got to feel more than normal but I enjoyed it and enjoyed the faster recovery of feeling to my legs.
Anyway we stayed in the hospital until later friday evening and then were allowed to come home. I will be posting more about her later. I just wanted everyone to know she is finally here and we are in LOVE!!! She is adorable! She is such a sweet and quiet baby. She doesnt cry either, she squeaks. How cute is that??
More to come later. She is awake.
XOXOXO

Drugs and Dr. Taco Bell!
So I thought I would keep everyone up to date on how things have been doing with us. So I havent updated my due date ticker on here and I am not sure I told everyone I am due Dec 10th now. So this baby is on its way. My doctor will be inducing me Weds AM if she doesnt make it here on her own by then.
Anyway things are peachy here. We are still just getting settled into our new place and just enjoying life. We are almost done Christmas shopping which is SO nice to think about. We started shopping in oh, August because I knew we were going to have a newborn at home and that cold weather and new babies arent a good mix. Not to mention how sleep deprived and exhausted I will be.
Yesterday afternoon I started having contractions so I got up and started cleaning, etc to see if they were real and they didnt go away. So we went out to the hospital finally. I get there they stick me on the monitors for about 2 hours and decide to send me home. All the while the contractions are about 4 mins apart and getting stronger. It was NOT cool at all. So they dope me up really good and send me on my way. SO Im still contracting after this I just care a lot less since they drugged me up. It really didnt feel so great.
Cody and I decide to go to Taco Bell and grab a bite to eat since I was starving by now. While eating I am so loopy its unreal. I should not be in public and Cody is getting a good laugh at this too. Anyway to the point of the post title....this guy working at Taco Bell - who is maybe no more than 21 - comes over to our table and says sorry about the wait. Cody tells him its okay and better than being at the hospital. So of course he wants to know all about it......long story short. Taco Bell guy tells me my baby is a good 2 weeks off from coming and that I should just relax and wait. He then sits and stares for a bit. Also he has friends that have joined him now. It was a party at our table I guess. An unwanted party. I was on meds...I just wanted to stuff my face and get out of there. So after he walks away Cody says "THANK YOU DR. TACO BELL!" Maybe it was the drug induced haze I was in but that killed me. It was so funny.
So the next time you are feeling unsure of your health or any other matter, stop into the Taco Bell in Price, Utah. I am sure there is someone there who can give you sound medical advice!
Im still contracting again today. So Dr. Taco Bell......I think your prediction is DEAD WRONG!

Some new family photos......

So we recently took some new family photos. I have always wanted to get pictures while I was pregnant and I have never really done it. So I decided lets make it happen. Funny thing is we put it off forever because of being busy moving and unpacking, etc so I really wasnt sure it was going to actually happen. Thanks to Jolene and her kick butt camera and photo taking skills it did!
We love our new photos. I dont care if anyone else does. I just think they are so random and real and not posed and fake. I love that about them. She snapped some very candid shots and they are fantastic. We cropped them a bit and played around with the color because you know FALL only comes ONCE a year and the colors it brings with it are AMAZING to say the least!
Also we did this at the end of the day after she got off work so we were fighting daylight disappearing. Turns out taking pictures during sunset makes for some gorgeous photos.
So thanks again Jolene for doing those we couldnt be more grateful and in love with them! Again you ROCK!
XOXOXO

Thankful Tuesday
So I have decided that in the spirit of Giving Thanks that I spoke of earlier I am going to post at least once a week, maybe twice (depending on the pending arrival of this baby girl in my belly) for someone/something I am thankful for. I just think its nice to know how appreciated you are at times and you can say thanks so many times and you just want to let that person know how you feel!
So yes its technically still monday. Im tired however and have a doctors appt tomorrow and we have been busy putting our house back in order. We painted a few rooms and revamped a couple things. I will try to find time to post before and after pictures later. We are really proud of our projects and love how much it improved our home. The babys room is in the process of being done. Cody finished painting it yesterday and the color is a little darker than what we hoped but we still love it. Now we just need to get all the odds and ends put into place. Its so exhausting but SO fun at the same time!
So back to the subject at hand. Im good at talking on and on. We all know this to be true.
I am truly thankful for many people in my life but right now I want to thank my mother in law Jolene. Really I feel like just calling her mom because she plays that important of a role in my life. I always hear stories from people about them hating their in laws and I have to say that one my favorite things about Codys parents has always been that they are just ALWAYS wanting their kids to be genuinely happy and healthy. Other than that they really just sit back and enjoy having all the family they do.....I LOVE LOVE LOVE you Jolene & Floyde.
I have to say I love that you always accept me for who I am, no matter how ditzy I can be, I often speak before I think, Im impatient at times, bossy, etc. But I love that even if I say or do the wrong thing you are not going to disown me at the drop of a hat or even hold a grudge. Half the time I think you may laugh at me more than I see (even if its after I am gone) but I love that you are so accepting of me.
I am thankful that you tell your son he is lucky to have me and our girls and that he loves me. He does love me and he tells me so often and I know its because you and Floyde taught him how to love and also to have patience. Which anyone who lives with me has to have. This you must know by now. ha ha ha.
As a mother life can be a scary place. Some days you feel like you are on top of the world, other days every choice seems to have a devastating impact. You make mothering look so easy some days (as a mom I know its not) but I love that you make it look possible and give me hope that tomorrow always brings another day no matter how stressed out I may get. You have the most patience of anyone I know and for that I AM SO THANKFUL!!!
You are so much fun to hang out with. You are such a good listener and I love that you never gossip back when I am upset with someone you just keep listening and pointing out the good......its amazing that you can do that. Our girls love you SO much and we love that you are an amazing Grandma and such a big part of their lives. Its been amazing this year watching you bond with them.
Okay so this is getting long but I had a lot to say. One other thing. You are SO cute when you are so naive about the bad things in life. I love that you just like to think the good. You are not stupid by any means but just that you look on the sunny side of things.
Well there are so many more things I could say about you but I have to stop typing now. Much to do and I am beat from such a busy day!
Just know how much we LOVE you! You are an amazing woman. You have an amazing strength in you and you have really instilled some of it in me. I will forever be grateful to you for that. You are just like a mom to me. And honestly this would be the case regardless of whats happened in my life the last year. I just think we share so many likes, dislikes and interests that it would be impossible to not get along with you. I rely on your opinions and support in my life and our lives........thanks for always giving so much of yourself.
I love you and I hope that this year has been just as profound for you as it has for me in the relationship that we now share. I cant wait to see how many more memories we all share in the future and I hope that other women out there are just as lucky to have a relationship with their husbands mom like I do. It really is an amazing bond to have.
LOVE YOU MUCH!

So GRATEFUL.....
So during this time of year I always love how people stop to think how thankful they are for things. However I do wish we could all remember to be so grateful and gracious the remaining 335 days of the year.....I know some are but generally speaking we tend to focus on our problems and struggles and have more of a "woe is me attitude" instead of just giving thanks for the life we breathe each day and for such simplicity in life....these are things over the past year I have found myself being extremely grateful for and it has changed me profoundly. It may be hard for some to understand but really life has a whole new meaning and perspective for myself and the way I will choose to raise/teach my children in the future!
I just want to say Thank You to all the special people in my life. You know who you are there is no need to name you all. But there are some of you that in this past year have shaped/influenced my life more than you will ever know. I talk alot so I may say things alot to where people may not know how to take me, but there were days this year I would have boarded the first train to crazy town had I not had the love and strength of others in my life. Its amazing how another life or person can make you so weak yet in other ways make you so strong!
So all of you should GIVE MANY THANKS for the special people in your lives and the blessings that are bestowed upon all of us that we often neglect to recognize. Even our troubles can be blessings in a wierd way. I hope you all hug your loved ones tightly and breathe a little deeper tonight knowing that each breath you take is another minute enjoying life....

The clock is ticking.
So let me just start this post by saying I am utterly blunt about life and sometimes it can border on offensive to those who are not as honest as myself. So I apologize in advance if I can get a bit "graphic" about our lives at times. I just like to tell it how it is. No confusion, just real life.
This pregnancy has been so different from the other two. I wouldnt expect anyone to know this since I havent blogged about my pregnancy besides to announce it and some werent so thrilled we were expecting AGAIN! Yes I am knocked up AGAIN and its nobodies business but ours if you cant just be happy for us. Again, I tell it like it is.
I have been really uncomfortable this time around. However not as much "morning sickness" as they like to call it. The headaches though have been AWFUL! Migraines are the worst form of punishment I can think of. I hate them and get them far too often. All I can say is thank the Lord for some medicine my doc gave me and for a wonderful husband and family to help take care of my children when one has struck! You all are so wonderful for helping!
So where are we at now in this pregnancy, you ask?? Well we are DAMN sure of the day this baby came to be conceived so my due date was moved to Dec 9th. So as of yesterday we have a month left. However about 2 weeks ago I started having contractions. Some quite painful. Then I lost my mucus plug. So now the count is officially on. I am actually not excited for this. We just arent ready yet. I was planning to be ready by Thanksgiving, lets all PRAY she can hold out until then. Well at least let me eat some turkey and stuff myself to the gourd before going into labor. I will NOT be a happy MAMA if I have to go several days without eating like when I had Savannah. Food through a tube (i.e. IV) is NOT SATISFYING at all! Being hungry makes you think BAD, BAD thoughts by the way.
I have never lost my plug with my other two babies but Dr. Gagon says its normal after a couple kids. (By the way I feel like a mother cat or something when I hear that) I just keep being knocked up. Yes, we know there is a solution to this. No need to make suggestions. SO I promise we will keep everyone posted on when this baby comes or I will ask my WONDERFUL, SUPER HELPFUL mother in law or Sister in law Misty(I will just refer to her as sister after this usually, because she is like one) to do so.
On a side note before I end this I think you all should know how much time I have spent pregnant. It will probably disgust you. Or maybe not. Cody and I have been married 6 years (06.22.2002) and here it is November and we are due with Baby #3 in Dec 2008. I have been pregnant approximately 9 mos each pregnancy so 9*3=27 months of pregnancy. So I have been just PREGNANT for over 2 years of our 6 years of marriage. UNBELIEVABLE!!! However we really couldn't be happier! We are done having kiddos. Apparently a boy is NOT at all in our cards but thats okay I happen to think we make pretty cute little girls and they are VERY fun to hang around with!
Oh yeah and dont count on seeing us before this baby comes unless you live in Provo or Salt Lake. I am no longer allowed to travel past that point since this baby could make an appearance any day she chooses. Also my doc is leaving for a week so if this baby does decide to come during that time I will be driving up north to have this baby. There is no way the only other OB available in Price will be delivering our kid. NO WAY! Also I am not stoked about delivering at "Casketview" anyhow but we already did the constant driving up north thing when I was pregnant with Savannah and it was hectic.
So wish me luck on the delivery lets hope its SMOOTH, quick and relatively uneventful. We don't need any trouble. We have two kids 3 and under who can cause enough of that. ha ha ha.

Baby steps.....
I know I am behind on keeping anyone and everyone updated on whats going on in our lives....so I will start small. Baby steps, I suppose. I have a couple minutes while the girls are eating lunch to post because I am so tired today I believe I am going to make a repeat performance of yesterdays afternoon nap. Im growing another person inside of me. I deserve it. At least thats how I am justifying being lazy for such a long stretch of time. ha ha ha.
So at the first of October we moved to Wellington. Or Smellington as I like to call it. Don't ask me why it just seems appropriate to call it that. Wellington is kind of the armpit of Carbon County. I know I am not making our new town seem so appealing am I?? I just mean its like this hodge podge of people and there is literally nothing here. We have several gas stations, 2 hotels (1 nice and 1 not as nice)and a subway(inside one of those gas stations)
So let me give you all the upside of Wellington. Or at least what we are considering the upside, some really are great.
* We have a fantastic new park for our kiddos to play at. However its now a bit too cold to go out often and we dont like that we could walk there however we dont feel that walking alongside the HIGHWAY with our young children is the safest/smartest idea!
*There are 2 churches here. Not that we are really church going people (we should be) but they do beautify our city a bit more and we could use the help.
* Okay and our favorite....its like a city out in the country. It is totally accepted and apparently encouraged for people here to have a wierd animal/pet of some sort. We love that part. I am telling you if we lived in the right climate I would totally have a flamingo as a pet. ha ha. I was telling Cody we should get a Llama (joking, totally) and we get home and he informs me a Llama already lives right behind us. So it is now VERY amusing for Savannah to see if this Llama is awake in the mornings, mealtimes, etc. She is totally in love with it. If only she knew that they like to SPIT. Most likely she would no longer be such a fan.
Okay so this post is getting too long. But really we do love Wellington. Its quiet here and a far cry from living in the BIG city raising kids, which we love. We also love our new place. We are renting from some very close family friends and our rent is SUPER cheap, which makes Wellington even more appealing. We are saving to build/buy a house in a year or so. We have all the space we will possibly need here which we love.
Ella and Vana share a room and their matching antique bed frames I bought all those years ago in hopes of having 2 little girls look ADORABLE in their rooms! Cody and I have our room, The new baby will have her own room which we are in the process of preparing and we are embarrassed to say its not done yet. Well I am embarrassed Cody not so much. The girls have a totally awesome playroom and I even have a craft room. We have a huge fenced yard that the girls have already had tons of fun in and a BIG, HUGE garage. Let me just say it is filled with all sorts of crap already. Cody needed a place to put all his Green Bay collectibles and they are also banned there. I probably shouldn't have mentioned that after saying its filled with "crap." I didn't mean it like that. But its so adorable how he has decorated with it and he stole back his super cool tool storage too. It was one of those tool dresser thingys and back when we didnt have a garage I turned it into scrapbook organization. You can all say it....POOR CODY!
Okay this post is long enough. SO come visit us sometime in Smellington. We love to have guests.

I know, I know.....I never update our blog! So sorry!
I've Been TAGGED by Mellissa Lazzlo and thought it would be fun to fill this out. I know I am AWFUL anymore about updating.....I promise to make a commitment to be better at this. We have just had ALOT going on in the past month!
8 TV Shows I Like To Watch...(well I will say Watch/DVR, because finding quality time for TV these days is very difficult)
1. Lipstick Jungle (only now its on on friday nights so I have switched to watching the "webisodes" online)
2. Jon & Kate Plus 8 - I DVR this and the girls and I watch it together
3. Wheel of Fortune - We watch as a family and let me just say things can get a little crazy! Cody cant spell to save his life and I swear he cheats off me!
4. Good Things Utah/Hot Homes of Utah - I watch this here and there and mostly just because I love the crafty/cooking segments and all the local information. Its nice to have a show about Utah.
5. King of Queens - I love a good laugh so sometimes I will watch re runs of this show
6. Food Network - not always anything in particular just depends on the day and my mood. As a family we love to cook together so we love to also watch together.
7. HGTV- I also love this network and LOVE getting ideas to decorate, etc.
8. Real Housewives on Bravo. Doesn't even matter which one they are showing. I know its rediculous that I like that show but I do. Cody makes fun of me plenty so for the rest of you......no need. He's got it covered. Ha ha.
8 Things That Happened Yesterday...
1. We went to Codys mom and dads and watched the Green Bay game and visited with all our family that was visiting from up north.
2. I took a 2 hour nap when we got home while the girls napped. It was JOYOUS and I was EXHAUSTED!!! Making another person takes up alot of energy!
3. We made homemade pumpkin belgian waffles for dinner in my awesome pro waffle maker! They were so good! Savannah and Ella both were in love!
4. Watched Baby Mama with Cody after the girls went to bed and it was pretty fun I must say. "couldnt I just spray some Pam down in that region before the baby comes out?" Too FUNNY!
5. Was thankful that I have such a wonderful husband. He went grocery shopping for us while I took that nap! So NICE to not have to go to the store on a sunday but we were SO out of organic milk!
6. Did Laundry. Which I love doing now since we have frontloading machines! Its amazing how much it changes your perspective on doing this once dreaded chore.
7. Cleaned up a bit.
8. Read to the girls. Oh how we all love to read. Except Daddy. Although he does it anyway and secretly I think he enjoys it.
8 Favorite Places To Eat...
1. Johnny Carinos - OH SO GOOD!!! I love pasta!
2. TGI Fridays
3. Chili's
4. PF Chang's
5. Olive Garden
6. Jason's Deli
7. Cheesecake Factory
8. Home- we cook some damn good things!
8 Things I'm Looking Forward To...
1. Getting the babies room finished
2. Thanksgiving and being with family.
3. Birth of our new baby girl
4. Paying off our car. It will be done in 1 year. Cant wait!
5. Christmas and to see our girls faces with the awesome gifts we got them!
6. Decorating the rest of our new place. It will be fun!
7. Finishing up our Christmas Shopping
8. Halloween - yes a year away but we LOVE Halloween around here and want to have a big party next year! Im so excited!
8 Things On My Wish List...
1. A new camera. Im thinking a Canon.
2. A smooth delivery of this new baby so recovery is easier than it was with Ella. A baby and major surgery all in one week dont mix so well!
3. Happiness. I already have it, however I am thankful for it and just want our lives to stay happy and content as they already are!
4. Enough money for my family to live comfortably and never have to worry
5. Health...again we are healthy but I am so thankful for this!
6. For Cody and I to take another fun trip for our anniversary this year. It was a blast and was a little nice to get away without our kiddos!
7. To own a boutique/bakery....probably years down the road but I have some fantastic ideas, etc.
8. To build more new friendships. I love meeting new people and Cody and I really want to find some other couples/families to spend some time with now and then. Price can be a bit boring at times.
I tag anyone who feels like filling this out! Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween, Happy Voting Day, etc and is getting excited for the Holidays just as we are!
XOXOXO
Love to all.

Just a quick little TAG!!!
I am...............Air, Mommy, a best friend, a sister to many, a wife, an individual, really should I go on??
I want...........My home to finally come together after this recent move! I get stressed out when things arent totally organized and we have a baby girl to welcome soon!
I have...........a beautiful, healthy family (including my extended family) that I LOVE so very much! I also have many blessings in my life!
I wish...........for life to improve for some of our family members right now. Its stressful watching other people struggle when your life finally feels at ease.
I hate...........When Cody works night shift and people who dont appreciate their lives more!
I fear............many things but death and the dark are pretty much up there at the top.
I hear...........QVC on TV and the baby monitor for Ella. Its a quiet little hum.
I always.......have Organic Whole Milk in the fridge for Ella and Vana and Coke for myself. Sad on my part. I know. Dont judge!
I miss.........living in the same house with my in-laws after our move from Texas. I got so attached and miss them SO much!
I love...........My whole family, friends, LIFE, etc.
I never........forget to tell my family I love them and I smother them in kisses and hugs all the day long!
I rarely........go to bed before midnight each night and I hate it!
I cry............very rarely, honestly. I just get upset about stuff and have to vent.
I lose.................my mind almost everyday. Just kidding but being a stay at home mom is hard work.
I am confused........about why more people dont appreciate life a little more and worry/complain a little less.
I need.................SLEEP! Always in need of sleep!
I should..............go to bed but I wont. I will try to organize some more things. Sad.
I dream..............about our future then realize its already better than I thought it would be and I just live life day by day and enjoy as many moments as I can!
I tag: anyone who has the time to fill this out.
