So I promised myself I would remember to tell all of you about Savannah and her mouth on her birthday. It was so so so funny. However, I am not sure where she learns some of the things she says to people. We certainly dont talk to her this way, so its always interesting to hear what comes out of her mouth.
Cody's dad turned on the ceiling fan to see if the decorations would twirl. However, little did he know some were attached to the actual ceiling. As the fan starts the decorations get all tangled up and are tearing.
During all of this Savannah is FREAKING OUT! She tells Grandpa.
"Don't do that again. If you do that again you should be slapped!"
We all about fell off our chairs. Where did that come from???
A bit later during gifts we were trying to get Two Pops {a.k.a. - Cody's Grandpa} to come in and sit down. He kept refusing and was just in an upset mood. So Savannah gets him to sit down and says "Now you sit there and THINK ABOUT IT!"
Again not sure where this all comes from!
She is constantly full of funny things that come out of her mouth. Just the other day she asks for chocolate milk with dinner. I tell her she can only have plain milk as she already had 1 glass of chocolate milk that day. Next comes.....
"Oh really, plain milk! You think you can calk {talk} to me like that?" I had to turn around quick so she wouldnt see me laughing. So everyone else told her she made me upset, I guess I snort when I cry?? ha ha ha. don't judge me.
Oh I really think we are in for a wild ride!

With 3, comes a smart mouth....
Savannah turns 3!!!!
I know, We cant believe it either! Its so crazy! So we wanted to post some pictures of her fun day! We really went all out and made it fun!
I decorated the night before and she woke up so surprised! She was not expecting that! She is obsessed with Strawberry Shortcake so we made her pink sprinkle pancakes with whipped cream, strawberries and pink sparkle gel! She loved them! Then we made blue pancakes the next day for breakfast for Neeka. Neeka is Cody's cousin. (well all our cousin!) We love love love NEEKA! Savannah calls her My Neeka. Her birthday is the day after Savannah's, so that is something special they can always share!
During the day we just had lots of fun playin and waiting for night to arrive. We had a party with the family that night and it was a lot of fun. We made cakes that day for both Neeka and Savannah. Texas Chocolate Sheet Cake {my special recipe} and a giant cupcake. This was Savannah's choice. It was my homemade Vanilla Birthday Cake Recipe! They couldnt have turned out better. Those of you who didnt make it missed out on some dang good cake! {not to toot my own horn, but really it was delish}
We wanted to tell everyone thanks for everything! It was such a fun night. Savannah loves all her gifts and you should be getting thank you cards soon.
The big gift of the night was from Mommy and Daddy! A new BIG GIRL BIKE! She is still a little hesitant of it since it doesnt ride the same as a trike! But she will get used to it eventually.
Sydney and her SICK SICK obsession!
Sydney was our baby before our babies. She is an almost 5 year old, yellow lab and terrier mix! She has been an interesting dog, with many interesting habits/quirks. Either way I love her to death! I could NEVER live my life without her! I spoil her rotten. She sleeps with me when Cody works nights, I bake her dog biscuits and homemade treats, etc. This dog has life made!
So imagine I have just given her the first bath for spring, {Trust us, she needed it!} and she decides to go outside and roll in dirty nasty dirt! Ok. so I am aware that dirt is supposed to be dirty. But this was greasy kinda. SICK! She hates hates hates being CLEAN! She does this everytime we bath her! Only sometimes she goes out and finds poo and rolls in it on her neck. Its SO SICK! I have to say this is the one thing she does that momentarily makes me want to adopt her out. Its disgusting. I really dont understand why she does it either. But I dread the days she comes in from sunbathing and I smell that smell.
So I had to post a couple photos of the last time she did this. Cody took her out on the deck and hosed her down. Usually she gets a nice warm bath but this was the 3rd bath already in 5 days! ENOUGH was ENOUGH!
She wasnt happy to say the least and sadly we have had to do this again. I think its safe to say she wont outgrow this habit. So please dont judge me for my doggies bad habits. I would never roll in poo!
Little Bunnies Foo Foo...Easter {Part Two}
So here are some pictures of the babies, some as bunnies, having some fun playing together! Ella decided that she would crawl on top of Kenadee and just take a seat. It was pretty funny to watch. Ella didnt think much of it but Kenadee did for a bit. She just kept looking at us, as if to say "who does she think she is, sitting on me?"
These babies are so lucky to grow up and have built in friends when we all get together. The next couple of years will be so fun! It was sad to see everyone have to go back home for the weekend. We didnt even get to spend all weekend with them all! Sad.
Easter {Part One}
So Easter weekend was quite uneventful really. Cody had to work for part of it, and also was called out for a night he was off. He ended up working all night long. So our trip to Moab was not able to happen after all. The rest of the family did get to go however and we are sad we missed it. It seems no matter where Cody works he always seems to work Easter. So I guess we just have to get used to that! There are 2 cute photos of Savannah and Ella talking on the phone to Daddy! Savannah was talking to him and Ella heard his voice and robbed her of the phone. It was so stinkin' cute! Savannah is going to have to learn to hold her own soon, because she gives Ella a lot of fight now and Ella is only going to get bigger and more clever!
So here are some pictures of the girls in their Easter dresses, getting into their baskets {planters} Gardening things were our theme this year. Along with some other goodies. Movies, sippy cups, treats, coloring books, etc. The girls loved them! Ella really loved the noise the seed packets made when she shook them. Savannah loved everything but was most taken by her gardening gloves and tools! She loves, loves, loves to be doing big girl/mommy things!
So as I said before Easter was pretty uneventful!
