2008 is already here.......it seems Christmas was just coming our way. Time flies by so quickly anymore. Each time it seems we have something to be excited for, the anticipation builds and the entire event or season just passes by without so much as a warning. Each time the New Year is upon us, I feel the need to move forward with life itself and start fresh. I think everyone seems to feel this way in some sense. I am not sure why? Maybe it's something about the winter fallen snow melting soon and everything sprouting so fresh and new. We are quite taken with life as it is.........we really would not change much of anything. It's funny that you spend all this time trying to shape your life into what you want it to be or think it should be..........then all the sudden life falls into your lap. No permission slip, no hesitation. You just wake up one day, look in the mirror and there it is :)


We feel very blessed that the life chosen by God for us is a happy and Blessed life. It is filled with LoVe & LaUgHtEr, joy, experiences to learn and teach from, curiosity and sometimes unpredictability since we do have small children. Of course there are the occasional bouts of sadness but we learn to walk through the storm with a smile and pretend we are okay. Eventually with the love and support of others.........WE ARE OKAY, actually not just okay, but better & stronger for what we have gone through. From this point forward each experience will bring a new perspective on life

Here is just a little thought.
Even if you are not religious, try to Thank God at least once each day for the beautiful gift he gave you called "life", Its an amazing journey and I am so thankful for mine!

I think that I am done for now..but really it never hurts to walk into the New Year hopeful and optimistic! You never know when another person really needs that extra ray of sunshine...
